Target Northern Campus
Brooklyn Park, MN

CLOSE Landscape Architecture+ and ESG Architects were retained by Ryan Companies to work with the Target Team to conceptualize a new corporate campus and town center on 300 acres in Brooklyn Park, a large suburb north of downtown Minneapolis. The Preliminary Master Plan calls for a mix of land uses including retail, office/showroom, residential and entertainment, linked together by a system of pedestrian-friendly streets and parks. Connections to regional open space and the Mississippi River are central parts of the concept.

The idea of developing a corporate campus with a new town center is unique to the Upper Midwest.
