Site Master Plan and Implementation of Pool

The Old Memorial Field project in Northfield, Minnesota started in 2005 with a community based Park Master Plan process led by CLOSE Landscape Architecture+. The Master Plan developed by that process was adopted by the community in January, 2006, and features a green landscape zone surrounding a new municipal swimming pool to replace the 50 year old pool in the site.

Currently, the swimming pool, bath house and parking area are being constructed with completion scheduled for the spring of 2007. The CLOSE led team includes USAquatics, a recognized pool consultant, and Bentz Thompson Rietow Architects, designers of numerous awarding winning buildings.
