Ben joined CLOSE Landscape Architecture+ in the spring of 2000, after receiving his Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota. Since coming to our office, Ben has worked on a variety of projects, including regional parks, multi-family residential development, historic properties, riverfront developments and a community college. In addition to his excellent collaborative skills, Ben has become increasingly involved with project implementation and construction administration.

Ben is an accomplished watercolor artist and has produced many of the renderings for projects on which the office has worked, including several of our Christmas cards. He lives in the revitalized Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood and has been working on updating a home he recently purchased there.
